This little guy was tucked into an alcove up on Capital Hill and I instantly had to stop and start shooting. I would have taken the recorder, too -- but someone obviously used this alcove to urinate in and I really didn't want to touch it.

Well, I ended up with an iPhone for my birthday and that little camera in there has become a new obsession for me. After over a year of producing these Dailies, it was nice to have a new tool to use -- even a camera as, well low-tech is not the word I want to use, but simpler than what I've been using. It feels like, creatively, I have a lot more energy with this little guy. And, I love the "Shake-It" app on there -- pure brilliance and the best 99 cents you'll spend!
