They're tearing down the Fun Forest in Seattle Center -- this is apparently the first phase of the tear-down.  The second stage will be the more kiddie oriented rides over by the Space Needle.  I don't know why I find this sad, I never really went here but it was definitely nice knowing it was there.

Random Things I Like This Week

>> Since this week marks the week of the the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, thought this would be appropriate to share: “Consequences by Noor: A Lens on Climate Change”. Beautiful and frightening… >> This guy’s images are really beautiful!

>> My favorite song this week? Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark’s “Sister Marie Says” and you can apparently download it off their site. I love it!

>> Sam showed this to me today – how did this local high school get all that choreographed and such? We didn’t do stuff this this in our high school!

>> Olive47 is an old school friend of mine and she created Miss Cupcake… these are brilliant and I love ‘em! For more info, click here.

>>  “What’s blue and white, squiggly and suddenly appears in the sky?”  Apparently, a failed Russian missile test.  But, how cool is that photo??

>>  A fellow photographer friend recently was in California – I saw some pics of him on Facebook and he had gone to one of the weirdest places I know of – the Salton Sea.  He did this portrait of photographer David Zimmerman as part of his “Some Interesting People” project, check it out here.

>> A boombox made out of Legos?  Yes, please!
